337 Chicken Wings Makes Kobayashi the “Wing King”

My least favorite part of chicken is the chicken wings. But for some reasons unknown to me, people seem to enjoy them very much. Takeru Kobayashi, the new Wing King seems to enjoy chicken wings a bit too much as he consumed 337 chicken wings in 30 minutes at Wing Bowl XX.

The event took place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. There were about 20,000 spectators to witness Kobayashi set a new chicken wing eating record by destroying the previous record of 255 chicken wings held by the three-time reigning champion Jonathan “Super” Squib.

The Japanese young man said to have prepared himself for the competition by eating 200 wings per day. And it was worth it because apart from being crowned as the Wing King, he also took $20,000 for his effort.

The job pays well however it gets quite tiresome sometimes. I discovered two years ago that I have some kind of passion for writing so in 2010 I started this blog in hope that people will share a piece of their mind.
