“Restoring Honor” this Saturday in Beckology class and f*cking up history

The most paranoid man on TV is organizing a rally to restore honor to American troops later today. Coincidentally (I don’t think so) it’s happening on the day and location Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. held his “I Have a Dream” speech. Of course the most “reliable” news network “Fox News” is backing Beck with his “non-political” rally.  Black and white political and civil rights activist leaders condemned this rally.

Beck has been promoting the rally on his Fox program and on his radio broadcasts, and he says that the timing of the event wasn’t intentional. He says that it was not his intention to do it on the Martin Luther King’s speech day 8-28 since June on his radio show. I wonder if it was unintentional, why not put it on the 27th or the 29th to avoid more division, unnecessary quarrels and racial tension in the country you so much want to restore the honor back? Instead of Fox News try to earn respect from the rational American citizens, they keep reporting on stupid things (Glenn Beck) and are also contributing in the division of the country.

It’s not that big of a deal if you look at it from the wrong angle, Beck did promise to speak 2 steps down from where Martin Luther King Jr. stood and you forget that it’s NOT a political rally! It’s Glenn Beck’s rally to “Restore Honor”! I’s pretty much lame as hell because no political issues whatsoever will be brought up so there’s nothing to be offended or afraid about. If you really believe that, it’ a load of horse shit piling up continuously.

Besides Beck, Tea Bagger activists from across the country, former Governor Sarah Palin, a Fox News contributor are expected to attend. Naturally with the presence of Tea Bagger activists, comes the Tea Baggers and all Beck University’s talented students to support their leader.

I wonder, what if they wanted to relive and give honor to Martin Luther King Jr. (wise man) for the “I Have a Dream” speech on Washington Memorial. This is history, far more important than the  Glenn Beck (stupid paranoid freak) political rally. I am well aware of the right to rally however this rally is distorting history.

My favorite things to do is swimming, playing tennis and watch movies, TV shows and documentaries. I like to be aware of what's happening in the world and I have to admit that I'll never understand politicians. I design and build information systems for a living. The job pays well however it gets quite tiresome sometimes. I discovered two years ago that I have some kind of passion for writing so in 2010 I started this blog in hope that people will share a piece of their mind.
