I am most of the times an optimist. Although I have to be pessimistic about the whole Toyota recall situation because it’s to a certain extent suspicious. It occurred to me that this whole recall thing might be something the US planned to exploit in order to promote the quality and mainly faultlessness of their cars. As many of you already know, Tiger Woods has been unfaithful to his wife with many different women. Just yesterday, the guy was publicly apologizing for over 10 minutes with a bull crap story. He was talking about failing his fans, his family, and God knows who else. Now my question is, what does his fans have to do with it? Why is the media making this so big of a event? Just now I was reading in the paper about UFO sightings in Mexico yesterday. I am a very open-minded person. I believe in things that others might find ridiculous. I do believe in the possibility of alien life. I mean we live in a Universe that we have absolutely no idea whatsoever of its size. We don’t know if there are other planets like ours, although recently one have been discovered ( within The Eagle [...]
Not too far North from the island of Hawaii, there is a large patch of plastic garbage. The patch is estimated to be twice the size of France. The patch is referred to as “The Great Pacific Garbage Patch” and has been also described as the “Plastic Patch Vortex”. The patch is characterized by exceptionally high concentrations of suspended plastic, chemical sludge, and other debris that have been trapped by the currents of the North [...]
One of my friends’ little sister recently had a quandary with the woman her boyfriend was cheating on her with. What really nauseates me is seeing two women, well, let me rephrase. What really irritates me, what I really hate is watching two stupid, dumb, air-headed idiot women fight over a man. Funny thing happened this year; many of countries within the Northern Hemisphere are experiencing colder temperatures than usual. What the freak?! According to climatologists, the whole planet is experiencing low temperatures, high snow packs and a decreasing solar activity for the past years. I like to watch the news and try to keep up with everything that’s happening in the world today. I try to focus mostly on the positive things, but there are some negative things happening that you just can’t ignore. Recently I watched the Mexican movie “El Traspatio/The Backyard”. The movie is about the women that were and are being kidnapped, raped and killed since the mid nineties in the city Juarez of Mexico. As [...]
Yesterday I was talking to my long time friend via Skype. We went to high school together and she currently lives and works in New York. The 9/11 attacks happened during our last year of high school and the year after she went to college in New York. The whole world witnessed the terrible event and had, still have sympathy for the victims and their families. Blog this!Bookmark on DeliciousDigg this postRecommend on FacebookTip on [...]
Hate is a strong word but….after spending nights up fixing many of my clients’ websites, I must share this “I Hate Internet Explorer” so very much!! The sad and worst part of all of this is that unfortunately it’s the most used web browser! Every new PC purchased, will inevitably come with this disgrace of a browser. I have downloaded and installed Safari, Opera, Seamonkey, Chrome, Netscape and Navigator. All of these browsers viewed all [...]
Not too long ago I watched the documentary “Zeitgeist II: Addendum”. In it Jacque Fresco and his partner Roxanne Meadows and spoke about “The Venus Project”. In short the Venus Project is a design of sustainable cities, energy efficiency, natural resource management and advance automation. The goal is to create a resource-based economy. The first time I heard about Tidal Wave Energy was in this documentary and now it will become a real thing. Imagine if [...]
Authorities in China shut down a website that officials think is the largest Hacker training network for computer hackers called The Black Hawk Safety Net. The web site was established in 2005 and believed to have recruited more than 13,000 paid and 160,000 free members and collected more than 1 million US dollars in membership fees. Imagine taking a cruise ship but instead of floating on water, it floats thousands of meters above ground. The “Aircruise” futuristic concept was made by the design company Seymourpowell. The current concept includes bars, spas, 10 luxury apartments and glass floors. The hotel will be 265 meters tall and could only carry about 100 people including the crew members. The Aircruise uses about 330,000 cubic meters hydrogen gas to float in the air. The hotel’s [...]
I remember a while back in 2003 I saw this magnificent show, Extreme Engineering on Discovery channel about Tokyo Sky City. It is a brilliant design of a city that contains everything an individual needs in his/her life. Housing, stadiums, supermarkets, office, casinos, restaurants, parks, theaters, stores and whatever else you name it. It is basically e.g. New York City in a single tall building and you don’t actually need to leave the confines of [...]
