Today I received an email from my little sister titled: “Birthday party for a 5 year old in the Dominican Republic”. I opened the email and I got a link to a video. (Take a moment and watch this video) Did you watch it? In my life I have never ever seen something as vulgar and nauseating. They’re children! I hope that the children aren’t really aware of what they’re doing but somehow I doubt it. [...]

Spice up your sex life Do things you have never done before, be spontaneous! Some people consider role playing tacky and outdated, but studies have shown that role playing keeps the sex life interesting. My husband and I do it at least once a week, role playing I mean. We even bought costumes! Advice: Dear readers, it is highly important for you to have the keys to the handcuffs before you handcuff yourself or your [...]
This fragment is the funniest thing I’ve seen on the News this week. A London based company wants to sell stab-vests to visiting football fans during the World Cup in South Africa. South Africa’s authorities condemned this action and believe that it will cause unnecessary fear. Football fans all over the globe condemned this vest as well. “You can add your country’s flag on the vest also” stated the company owner. He said that these [...]
My brother’s friend asked me yesterday if I believe that Global Warming is a fact. I really didn’t have a yes or no answer for him but as usual I shared a piece of my mind. For the last 4 years many people have been made aware of Global Warming. Many are cutting their carbon dioxide output by saving energy, driving hybrid cars, recycling and you name it. Not too long ago my 13 year old niece sent me an email asking what I did when a classmate was teasing and picking on me when I was in school. I then called her via skype and asked her if she was being bullied at school. I know I shouldn’t have asked her because of course she is going to deny everything. She told me that it was for a friend. I grew up [...]
Fights Call me crazy if you want but fights definitely keep a relationship fresh. It’s healthy to have fights now and then with your partner as long as it’s not too much. Keep in mind though that fighting everyday is not healthy! Usually for many couples after fighting comes the make-up sex. Nowadays relationships don’t last as they used to in the early 20th century and the centuries before that. Why? I guess most of you know already that in those times people were afraid of being an outcast in the world of righteousness. God forbids someone getting a divorce in those times! Even if you did, you’ll have to move to another state or country. Blog this!Bookmark on DeliciousDigg this postRecommend on FacebookTip on HyvesShare via [...]
Curaçao is celebrating 40 years of its unique Carnival Seasonal Festivities. There will be many parades for the public to enjoy with the distinctive sound of “Tumba Music”. Tumba is from African origins but nowadays it’s a mixture of meringue, Latin jazz and other Caribbean sounds. Each year a Tumba Festival will be held where a winner will be selected by votes. Not too long ago a friend asked me what my thoughts were on Valentine’s Day. Most of them think that I have an opinion on everything. It’s true that I have a remark and comment on every topic. What I disagree with is that according to them, all my remarks and comments are skeptic. Women are the smartest creatures on the face of the earth. At least most women are. I have many girlfriends and they describe me as a strong willed young woman. Regrettably I can’t say the same about them. In fact only a handful of women I am friends with but none happens to be my closest friends. As many of you already know, Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere and inhabits a little over ten million people. On January 12th, 2010, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake shook the grounds of the City Delmas approximately 25 kilometers from the capital Port Au Prince. The earthquake was the strongest earthquake recorded on the island since 1770. The expected death toll is 45.000 to 50.000 people but it is expected to [...]
We finally made it! Curaçao happens to be the only Caribbean island to make the Top 10. For the past 2 years I have notice that the tourism here on the island has increased drastically and the numbers speak for themselves as well. The Venezuelans come more often due to their necessity. I’ll start by saying that I’m not a religious person. I do not share the concept that most have of God. What ticks me off is when religious people judge the non-religious ones. Some will try to make you understand why you are wrong by not being religious while others will persuade you into believing that their religion is the only truth. As if it were enough, in the process they’ll try recruiting you to [...]
